Elronds Armee

Elrond betritt die Bühne und fummelt mit einer Sonnenbrille rum.
Hinter ihm kommt Gil-Galad, als Elrond ihn bemerkt, steckt er die Sonnenbrille weg und dreht sich zu ihm um.

Elrond:
You are supposed to be dead. / It can not be. You fell.

Gil-Galad:
I come back to you now, Master Elrond, to ask you one question: Why does everyone think that it was your army that defeated Sauron, and not mine?

Elrond:
Well, Ereinion, son of Fingon, you fainted in the face of death and we thought, that that was no proper behaviour for a leader of a great army.

Gil-Galad:
But it was my army, MY ARMY. I am Gil-Galad the elven king, of whom the harpers sadly sing -

Elrond:
Oh, we failed to erase that.

Gil-Galad:
- and my death was glorious. I burst into flames and flew over the battlefield like a falling star.

Elrond:
And no one saw it. That is why you will be forgotten like the thousands of falling stars no one saw. And now, fade away, and never come back.

Gil-Galad:
But it was my army!

Elrond:
Leave now and never come back.

Gil Galad geht rückwärts von der Bühne. Elrond setzt die Sonnenbrille wieder auf.

Elrond:
I have business with Mr. Anderson tonight.

Elrond dreht sich um und geht.
